AssetMaxx

Spectrum Financial's investment strategies were originally designed for use with mutual funds to take advantage of the broad security diversification, cost efficiency and ease of moving assets from a stock or bond position to the protection of a money market fund.

The past decade, however, has seen tremendous change within the financial industry, including a vastly new pricing structure and the emergence of new investment options from exchange traded funds to derivatives, stock and currency baskets, and access to international markets once available only to the largest investment companies.

In response to new opportunities to offer our investment strategies in a more flexible and cost efficient manner, Spectrum's management team helped develop proprietary mutual funds that incorporate our multiple investment strategies while retaining that essential ability to move to a 100% cash position in the event of adverse market conditions.

These funds are offered through Direxion funds, an innovative investment company and a leading provider of leveraged index and alternative-class mutual funds.

Our investment team donates portfolio management services to the Direxion funds through Hundredfold Advisors LLC, a registered investment advisor that is owned by a not-for-profit foundation.   Spectrum Financial also provides donated back office services to Hundredfold Advisors.

AssetMaxx allows us to offer to Spectrum Financial clients unique actively managed investment vehicles that are fully compliant with and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission . Because Spectrum Financial is compensated by the funds via the 12b1 servicing fee common to the mutual fund industry, clients pay no additional management fees to Spectrum for this service.

Three funds are currently available to Spectrum Financial clients:

Direxion Select Alternative Fund (SFHYX) - seeks income and capital appreciation on a total return basis by investing primarily in high yield fixed-income securities, either directly or indirectly through exchange-traded funds (ETFs), other investment companies and derivative instruments.

Direxion Global Perspective Fund (SFGPX) - seeks income and capital appreciation by investing in equity securities of foreign issuers either directly or indirectly through American Depository Receipts, ETFs, foreign currencies, baskets of foreign currencies, other investment companies and derivative instruments.

Direxion Equity Opportunity Fund (SFEOX) - seeks income and capital appreciation by investing either directly in securities of domestic and foreign issues or indirectly through ADRs, ETFs, other investment companies and derivative instruments.

Each fund is designed to be able to move from a fully invested position to a conservative cash position, depending on the technical trading strategies being followed. Each fund utilizes Spectrum investment strategies to determine how aggressive the invested position should be, using time-tested technical analysis. As a result, active management is integrated into the fund's daily composition.

Before investing, please read the Direxion funds prospectus for risk factors, management of the funds and the impact of all management fees and costs. Copies are available upon request from Spectrum Financial or directly from Direxion funds. There can be no assurance that the Funds will achieve their objectives. The opportunity for loss as well as profit exists with all investments.

Spectrum's Client Services Team aids clients in determining an appropriate mix of the Direxion funds based on the client's risk profile and investment objects. The resulting allocation is designed and intended to be held long-term with periodic rebalancing among the client's holdings.

At no time does Spectrum Financial or Hundredfold Advisors have access to client monies. Assets are held in the client's name at Direxion funds. Investors have ready access to their assets and may sell part or all of their investments at the next determined net asset value once a sell order is received.

AssetMaxx  is suitable for retirement accounts, profit sharing plans, custodial accounts, trust funds, investment portfolios and other investment objectives. Because many transactions within the funds will be short-term in nature, the AssetMaxx approach is well suited to tax-deferred accounts where taxes on gains are deferred until withdrawal at retirement.
